What I Use
Inspired by Wes Bos, here's what I'm using on a daily basis. Visit uses.tech for a list of what others use or to submit your own.
Hardware
Although I got my start designing and developing on an ancient Gateway laptop that I saved up forever to buy, I switched pretty quickly to Apple's ecosystem early on once I could afford it. I'm currently using:
- My primary display is an Acer Predator X3
- On top of that display sites a Logitech C920 Webcam
- To the right is part of my livestreaming setup that I use as an external microphone for crisp audio
- 2019 16" Macbook Pro (2.3GHz, 8-core i9, 16GB Memory, 1TB HDD)
- Apple Magic Keyboard w/ Numerical Pad (space gray)
- Apple Magic Mouse Touchpad (space gray)
- 11" iPad Pro w/ Apple Pencil
- iPhone 11 Pro
- Bose QC35 headphones
- Apple AirPods, Gen 2
Workspace
The environment that I work in is extremely important to me. I've worked out of a RV while we traveled around the United States and worked in-office with product teams. I've always kept a home office and here's what I'm currently using:
- Uplift V2 72" standing desk w/ white frame with a IKEA Gerton desk top that I've stained.
- Capisco Chair by HÅG (a bit expensive but worth it!)
- Aukey XXL Desk Mat
